Goblin Boss

Really like this guy, and little squiggy with big,  red eye.

Gubbinz the goblin jestetr

This is miniature from warhammer board game „Lair of the Orc Lord” – now it’s very rare gobbo.

Spear chukka

Without goblin crew now, but not for long..

  1. This is one of the nicest Goblin armies I’ve ever seen. I love how you’ve been able to take basic, simple miniatures from the boxed set and make them look great! In particular, the Goblin Short Bow Champion is a favorite of mine.

One question – Can you tell us the recipie for the yellow on the Goblin Standard Bearer?

    1. Huh, I dont even expect that someone will found this pictures on my site, because I don’t play warhammer and this army anymore :) Really I don’t remember how I painted standard bearer but I can guess that it was one of yellow basecoat paints from Citadel Foundation shaded with Dark Flesh (it work great with yellow colors).

  2. Thanks for the quick response!

I found your pictures because when I want to get ideas for how I might paint a unit, I just do searches on the Internet for images of what I’m looking for. In your case, it might have been the Arachnarok spider, or just „Warhammer painted goblins” used as the Google search terms.

Thanks for the tip on how you shade yellow. I’ll definitely give that a try. I’ve used colors like Chestnut Ink, Snakebite Leather and Bestial Brown, but I don’t think I’ve ever tried Dark Flesh. I’ll give it a shot because I like the look of it.

I think the key to improving as a miniature painter is to never stop trying to improve and continue to find new ways of doing things.

  3. Thanks for sharing excellent information. Your web site is very cool. I’m impressed by the details that you’ve on this website. It reveals how nicely you understand this subject. Bookmarked this web page, will come back for extra articles.
