Today, we present to you one of the most loyal Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes, unwavering in their devotion to the Emperor and His eternal teachings. The Novamarines Chapter, steadfast and resolute, is a paragon of discipline in adhering to the Codex Astartes. The sons of Guilliman have served the Imperium of Man for thousands of years, their unyielding loyalty and indomitable spirit an inspiration to many other Chapters.

The founding of this Chapter is owed to the honored Captain of the Ultramarines, Lucretius Corvo, who during the Horus Heresy broke the siege on Astagar, vanquishing the Word Bearers and destroying the legendary Warlord Titan, Fellghast. For this deed, Primarch Roboute Guilliman himself awarded Corvo the Laurel of Perseverance, thus giving birth to the Novamarines Chapter.

Over the ages, the Novamarines have engraved their deeds in the annals of Imperial history, participating in the defense of Cadia during the Thirteenth Black Crusade and engaging in deadly combat against Typhus on Raukos during the Indomitus Crusade.

Our journey with the Novamarines began two years ago, and the images below showcase countless hours spent perfecting details and color schemes, imbuing each miniature with a unique character. Each unit is a tribute to the illustrious history of this Chapter and their unwavering determination.

The Heavy Intercessors, especially the brothers wielding Heavy Meltaguns, provided us with immense satisfaction and a rewarding challenge. Our goal in painting them was to capture the effect of superheated steel, reflecting the destructive power of their weapons. We focused on subtle color transitions and realistic signs of wear to convey the brutality of molten steel that these units bring to the battlefield. With NMM (Non-Metallic Metal) techniques emphasizing metallic elements on their armor, we achieved an effect that faithfully represents superheated metal and the unbreakable nature of the Novamarines.

The Terminators are true titans of the Novamarines—a relentless hammer that crashes down upon the enemies of the Imperium with unstoppable force. Each of these miniatures is unique in detail, from massive armor plating to intricate engravings on helmets and shoulder guards, symbolizing the honor and achievements of this elite unit. In our work, we sought to faithfully recreate not only their armor but also the scars of battle fury. We focused on strong, contrasting tones to enhance their resolute nature, with particular attention to rich silver accents that give their armor an aura of majesty, worthy of heroes who have fought side by side with the mightiest warriors of the Imperium. Novamarines Terminators are more than just strength—they are symbols of loyal service, ready to strike where the threat is greatest.

Nova Marines Bladeguard Veterans (5 Units of 3)

The Bladeguard Veterans hold a unique place in the Novamarines’ ranks—not only for their combat prowess but for their almost ritualistic fidelity to the Codex. With their dazzling shields and lethal power swords, they stand as knights of old legends. In the painting process, we took great care to give each shield and blade a distinct glow, emitting an aura of energy that speaks to their power. Intricate details on their armor, from inscriptions to heraldic symbols, catch the eye and highlight master craftsmanship. Their richly saturated colors and battle-worn markings add the character of heroes who have survived countless battles, emerging from each one more determined. Bladeguard Veterans are an elite unit that commands admiration, both in the ranks of the Imperium and on the tabletop.
